An Event to Remember did a great job at our wedding!! They made everything come together for us. The colors were perfect, and the food was great too! And so much better than the other places we tried before. Everyone loved how elegant it looked, and I loved how easy the coordinator made it. I was so stressed, and worried about how it would all look. It turned out exactly how I wanted, and I completely trusted Kaleigh. Really great service and communication all the way through. We made lots of last week changes and she made them all happen for us. They even helped with things that they didn’t have to. Our wedding had alot of our personality in it, and I’m so glad I used them! I don’t think anyone else would have made it so special! Many compliments to them!

This company was great to work with. My coordinator Kaylie was excellent! She prepared me for things I would have never thought of. She made sure all my expectations were met, and also made sure alot of them were surpassed! I was my own wedding planner, and I really had no idea what I was doing. She helped me plan and put everything together. She helped especially on my wedding day to make everything go alot smoother. She really kept everyone on track, including me!
Everyone at my wedding loved the food! The colors were perfect, and everything was very elegant. I loved the suggestions the coordinator made, and she really listened to me. It was a better wedding than I could have ever imagined! They also did my centerpieces and bartending service. My centerpieces were exactly what I wanted, and really made everything very pretty. They took such good care of me, and I felt like a princess the whole time. It was so nice! I couldn’t have done it on my own, and I am so grateful I chose this company over the others! I would recommend them to anyone!

The staff and our contact, Kaylee Richardson, were so great to work with! Kaylee went out of her way to give us advice on everything (not just catering). Our DJ bailed 30 minutes before the wedding, and she contacted the company to get a replacement there. She definitley went above and beyond the call of duty and made sure things were just right! We got so many compliments on the food and decor. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and they were a huge part of its success!! I give them my highest recommendation!

First of all, our wedding was wonderful. I planned everything myself, well sort of, but I got alot of help from Kaylee at An event to remember. I’m not sure if she is a wedding coordinator or wedding planner, but my guess is that it’s the best of both worlds. She was the ONLY person I was ALWAYS able to get ahold of! That speaks for itself! Everyone else I hired for my wedding was always unable to return my calls or answer any of my questions. Kind of ridiculous for all the money I paid all of these different people.
She warned me about anything that could possibly happen, and the one thing I ignored, did happen and she fixed it for me.(late family with glasses for toast) She was possibly the best Macgyver I have ever seen. I cannot believe what an amazing job she did helping my wife pick out colors, and that everytime I had a concern about anything, most things not even concerning her company, she was already on top of it. She also gave us directions on wedding etiquette. Let me just say that she is definetly invited to any and all future family fuctions.
The bartenders were great, the severs and hostesses were great. Our food was excellent.And mostly the kind of service we got was definetly worth alot more! So glad I stumbled onto them, and in case I didn’t say it enough that night, Thanks Kaylee!

Whole team is wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone. Our coordinator found ways for us to have a tasteful, beautiful wedding for less money than we ever thought we could! Her resources and her creative ideas made my daughter’s wedding fabulous!

Hi Kaylee! I think we are finally settling down here somewhat and our heads have stopped spinning as much. I simply can’t imagine how on earth you do what you do every day! We are amazed and thank you so much!

Our guests were raving about the absolutely fantastic BBQ and were all asking for recipes. We told them they had to contact y’all! They were also so complimentary of the staff as well and several of our guests told us how sweet and helpful everyone was, from the dinner servers to the bartenders to the clean-up crew!  Several of us and our relatives enjoyed helping the guys clean up since we ended up running overtime with the reception when the limo driver arrived later than expected. We had a great time too!

We got to meet Olivia on Sunday when we returned the glass candle holders that were mistakenly placed among our belongings. We stopped by the shop and dropped them off. Olivia is very sweet and reminded us that she was at our reception the night before! I wish I had thought to ask her if she knew the number of plates served for dinner. Can you please let us know? We are just trying to figure out about how many people showed up so we will have a better idea when anyone asks us if we had enough room at Boulder Springs. We had plenty of room! It was the perfect size crowd and everyone had a wonderful time, thanks to y’all.

Everything went well and we look forward to highly recommending you, as we already have to several guests who asked.

…People thought the food was exquisite and we did have a fair amount of young men who may have requested seconds (or thirds!!)  Your service was flawless and your waitstaff very courteous.

As to working again sometime, I have had many people request your name.  For example: my father-in-law is the President of the San Antonio Watercolor Society that has a juried show at the Witte each year- among other individual shows and he asked for your name.  Additionally, the hospital that I work for has a christmas party for 600 each year.  I would like to recommend you for that as well.  And, of course, we have friends children getting married (they are at that stage of life!) and would very much like to have your excellent service and food at their receptions.  So, it is likely our paths will cross again in the future.

I don’t even know where to begin. The event you catered and provided linen and table decorations for was a smashing success. The food was delicious, the wait staff were gracious, and the set up was impeccable. Thank you so much. Planning an event from 2000 miles away isn’t always easy, but you all were very helpful and professional, and the event went off without a hitch. Tomorrow will be two months since Lara and Josh’s unbelievably beautiful wedding at the unelievably beautiful Riven Rock Ranch! We have been remiss in not getting a note off to you long before now as intended, and we sincerely apologize for the delay.

We can not thankyou enough for the part you played in making May 3rd such a wonderful and special day for Lara and Josh. Everything went so smoothly and we realize it was no accident. it took a great wedding coordinator and some amazing vendors like An Event to Remember, who all excelled and did a superb job!

In the dictionary, “superb” is defined as “excellent, majestic, extremely fine, splendid.” An “extremely fine” and “splendid” wedding it most definitely was…with “majestic” and “excellent” flower arrangements and bouquets, that’s for sure.

Like all Brides, Lara has a vision of what she wanted on her wedding day. She discussed it with you and you created her vision..and then some! Beyond her expectations! After lara walked through and looked at everything for the first time, I asked her what she though. How she liked it. This was her answer: “It is so beautiful. It all turned out even better than I expected!”

For a bride to be able to make that statement on her wedding day is a remarkable and wonderful thing. It also had a calming and soothing effect on the wedding day nerves and anxiety.

At one time I tried to talk Lara out of the outdoor lounge area, but she had her heart set on it. You managed to create it beautifully, in the vibrant colors she wanted and she was so pleased. The free standing pew arrangements were gorgeous, but we especially loved the two wrought iron candelabra flower arrangements on the columns – they were magnificent! Lara was so pleased with eveything you did…from the lovely rose petal aisle runner to the beautiful flowers, the linens, all the draping, sashes, etc. Thank you for doing a superb job.

We believe Chris has managed t turn Riven Rock Ranch into the ultimate wedding venue. What a beautiful setting – and especially with the new covered Pavillion he added just in time for Lara and Josh’s wedding. They felt honored and fortunate that their wedding was the first one out there. A spectacular first wedding we naturally think is going to be a tough act to follow! We know it’s going to be a very popular and sought-after wedding venue from now on.

As you well know, plenty can go wrong at a wedding, and for both the bride and groom to say theur wedding went off perfectly and was even better than they expected is a “splendid” and “excellent” thing!

This has turned into a rather long letter, but it was impossible to condense what we felt about May 3, 2008 into a short note. All that matters is that Lara and Josh will always have such warm and good memories of their wedding day. As long as it was special and perfect to them! Thank you for your part in making it so. An “extremely fine” first wedding at an incredible venue high on a hill in Comfort, Texas. It was pure magic! They even had a perfect and glorious sunset just in time for the first dance. We couldn’t have asked for more. It couldn’t have gone any better and Josh and Lara are so happy.
